Previously, Douglas assisted clients in various legal matters at the Ohio Northern Corporate Transactional Clinic and clerked for the Honorable Judge Charles D. Steele at the Van Wert Court of Common Pleas. .

Douglas A. Stephan received his Juris Doctorate from the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law. While attending Ohio Northern, Douglas was a staff and associate editor for the Ohio Northern Law Review. He received his B.A. from Ohio University in 2007.
